CHARLIE WYETT

Charlie's first game was Norwich against Wolves in 1979  and has been a regular at Carrow Road since - both as a supporter and journalist.

"It was great fun to write a chapter for the first edition and I tried to give an insight into what it is like covering the football club you also support.

There have certainly been a few highs and lows and the toughest match was probably having to cover the play-off final against Middlesbrough even though, in the end, the result was a good one."

Charlie joined the Wisbech Standard from college in King's Lynn and worked for the Cambs Times in March and the Cambridge Evening News. He then joined The Gulf Today in the United Arab Emirates.

In 1996, he returned to England to work for The Sun and has been there ever since. He is currently Football Editor.
