edited by Lance Hardy, Graeme Anderson and Rob Mason focuses on six men who have occupied the Sunderland AFC managerial hot seat at Roker Park or the Stadium of Light. Together they cover almost 40 years - from 1979 to 2017 - of the exhilarating and exhausting job of managing Sunderland AFC and the unique challenges it has presented down the decades.
