The packed house at Watford Palace Theatre for our recent live event with John Barnes would have been impressed by the fantastic backdrops that we had on stage and they were courtesy of our new graphics partners - Rocket Graphics.

Rocket, based in Watford since 1986, are a large format digital production company specialising in brand implementation for events, exhibitions, retail interiors and environments and we are delighted to have partnered with them.

The backdrop for the event on September 8th saw four light boxes installed on the stage which brought four images of John Barnes to life. The pictures were sourced from the Watford Observer archive and then enlarged with specialist techniques by Rocket Graphics. It was fantastic to see the partnership between the Observer and Rocket work so well and create a totally different setting for our latest event.

Earlier in the year, when the partnership was formed, we visited Rocket to see the precision technology that they boast at their Watford HQ - allowing them to create large scale event branding for a variety of sporting and corporate clients.

Gary Ingerson (above), Rocket Sales Business Manager, has been the man leading the partnership with Tales from the Vicarage and is already planning creations for our next live event on November 12th - the launch of Rocket Men.

Measurements have already been taken to not only create something eye-catching on stage but also on the outside of the Watford Palace Theatre.

For those of you coming to the event on November 12th, look out for it on your way in - and if you missed out on tickets make sure you swing by the theatre anyway in the days pre and post TFTV Live to see what Gary and the team have in store.

We are so happy to be on board with Rocket & look forward to the journey ahead.
