ROBERT ENDEACOTT

Robert is a life-long Leeds fan, born in the LGI, and brought up in Beeston LS11 where he still lives. Writer of books, often about Leeds, and screenplays, published works include One Northern Soul followed by No More Heroes as well as the factual Leeds supporter-book Fanthology with Graeme Garvey. The ironically-titled best seller novel Dirty Leeds arrived in 2009, and the sequel, Disrepute – Revie’s England, followed. Due to publisher closure, then came After Extra Time (Dirty Leeds Uncut)  which is the extended version of Dirty Leeds.   Other books include the unauthorised biography of The Stranglers,  Peaches – A Chronicle of The Stranglers, 1974-1990.  and the factual book about the Zulu Warriors gang of 1980s Birmingham Hunting The Hooligans co-written with the former chief officer of the police's ‘Operation Red Card’, Mike Layton. In 2018 comes Robert's eagerly-awaited novel about John Charles' departure from Leeds to Juventus in 1957.
